"I just picked up a pair of the H2 headphones today, and I have to say, these are BY FAR the best sounding in-ear headphones that I've ever heard! Amazing lows and crisp highs. Amazing! You guys have, yet again, exceeded my expectations. Wow. " — C. Kotter
"Amazing! Music nirvana! I have the H2 and I can say without hesitation they are truly amazing! I love, love, love these headphones! I have in the past used wired Shure IEMs costing hundreds of dollars and I dare say these are quite superior in my judgment! (The convenience of the wireless form factor and the controls being at my fingertips are awesome but the sound is truly the main thing I love about these.) I use them with Comply Isolation tips (or Sport Pro, which is the same but with the added sweat-guard feature). After trying a few other types of tips, nothing else comes close for me. I'm using LDAC. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone. At the time that I'm posting this, the LDAC feature in the S9 is only available via Developer Options (do an online search on how to access that.) Also, for best results, based on some inquiry it seems that Tidal (and Spotify) hi-fi downloads are 44.1/16 and in my experience when playing those files setting the LDAC to those specs seems better than using higher LDAC specs (and a forum inquiry suggest the same). At the least, it seems if the audio file is 44.1 it's best to set the LDAC to 44.1. Even though the DAC in the headphones upsamples, all indications are it's best to set the phone to match the source file if you know the specs. But test out the variables yourself." — J. Newman
"I got this headset through the RBH website but wanted to leave a review here as well because of how awesome it is. If you want to skip straight to the review go to the next paragraph. Let me start with a bit about me: I have tested many bluetooth headsets, earbuds, over the ear, etc. over the past few years in search of the perfect pair. For years I defaulted to the LG tone pro headsets, enjoying the neckband style and audio quality (just APTX). After wanting better audio quality I searched for a solid pair of affordable LDAC earbuds and these perfectly fit the bill. Little did I know the treat I was in for...
I'll get the basics out of the way first: build quality is fine. I've seen a few others complain, I have no idea what they're talking about. I have Shure earbuds that are plastic and they are the same material/design as this headset.I have no doubt these will last and stand up to the abuse of daily use. Also I have seen others complain that the cable is not long enough or rubs and makes noise you can hear while using the headset. I have not had either of these problems, cable length is good and none of my clothing has rubbed and made noise I can hear. Anyways onto the good stuff.
I love the quality of this product. The headset itself is beautiful, the cable is strong and stylish. Cable is the perfect length for me. The controls are in a convenient spot and are easy for me to access. I love the included high quality pouch for storing these, I can easily throw them in my backpack or car and not worry. There are many included earbud tips, both foam and soft rubber depending on what you want. The included instructions are good. I contacted support to clarify a few things and they were very helpful, getting back to me quickly.
Audio quality is UNBELIEVABLE using LDAC and the right set of earbud tips! I went with the comply large tips, instead of the stock foam tips that come on the headset. This cuts out most sound and gives me incredible overall sound quality and immersion. I was truly blown away with the quality of music using LDAC. I tested using local high quality material: music files (AAC/FLAC) and Tidal music service. Using developer mode on my OnePlus 6 I was also able to switch between LDAC and APTX HD and I could definitely tell a difference. Everything from EDM, to classical, to rock and jazz sounded amazing with this headset. Sound is crip, robust, solid. You can hear individual instruments and other elements of songs that weren't there before. I was legitimately shocked when I first used these and really cranked up the volume. For the price, this audio quality cannot be beat. They stay in while I'm rock climbing at the gym, which none of my other earbuds could do. The range is great, just as good as any other headset I have used. Do note that while using LDAC the range is automatically shorter because the bandwidth is so high. My phone has a setting that changes between the highest/medium/lowest LDAC quality depending on your distance to keep the connection strong. I didn't find the range much worse with LDAC vs APTX HD, although if you are going to constantly be far away from your phone while using these I would recommend APTX HD.
Overall I give these a solid 10/10. Great build quality, easy controls, comfortable fit, insane audio quality, and the price can't be beat. If you're looking for pristine audio quality in a bluetooth headset, that doesn't break the bank, this is your solution!
PS - Be sure to enable APTX HD or LDAC on your phone when you use these! I forgot at first and although the sound quality was still great, when I finally remembered and switched to LDAC my mind was blown." — C. Field
