"I’ve spent the last year listening to a trio of RBH Reference speakers (770) with a very highly regarded Pioneer flagship receiver.
I have put all my old standbys in storage. None come even close to producing such a natural sound. In fact, my 20 year favs are laughable when compared a/b.
I can listen to the RBH all day without fatigue. Even at concert levels, they remain very accurate and extremely civil. For such a small 6½” driver, they produce a wave of sound that makes your hair stand up. It’s not just the ears that thrill, but your entire body can sense the impact during intense movie scenes or during my pipe organ favs (my wife really hates that stuff wow).
They have made a tremendous difference in my use of audio. I have fallen in love again with stereo listening. I spend hours with my 40 year old library. I hear new detail in my old favs that left my other speaker models sounding muted, or more often, sounding brittle and harsh.
I believe RBH has passion and pride in their creations. It shows with fit, finish and that wonderful sound they make. You know that you own something special after a healthy sample of music with their products.
Heaven help me if I hear their higher end offerings. I may have to sell a kidney." --Craig W.
